Course Overview
How can feminist philosophy reshape our understanding of medical ethics and public health?
MED HIST 747: Feminist Bioethics explores the intersection of gender, justice, and care in contemporary bioethical challenges.
Topics include:
- Abortion and maternal-fetal medicine
- Sex bias in clinical research
- Epistemic injustice in health care
- Intersections between feminist and Black bioethics
Students will apply a feminist lens to both classical and emerging bioethical concerns.

- Who can enroll: Students in MD, DPT, MPAS, MGCS, or MPH programs
- Schedule: Two-week intensive, Monday–Friday, 1:00 – 3:30 PM
